Compliance with national and international standards is essential for manufacturers and suppliers to maintain credibility with clients; what's more, failure to comply with these standards can result in businesses being forced to close. Legislation is continuously being updated as more is understood about how products are being used and the risk that they may pose is realised. However, often product conformity is driven by due diligence on behalf of the vendor, rather than by a prescribed legal framework.
Our testing and analysis service is available to help businesses validate their products and processes. We are a UKAS accredited testing laboratory (No. 0013) in the UK and have Ceram accredited overseas laboratories - from both we can carry out extensive testing and analysis, from routine conformity testing for quality control to bespoke testing packages. We are able to undertake analysis of the physical and chemical properties along with microstructural analysis.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff are able to devise a suitable testing methodology to assess the suitability and fitness for purpose of a new product. We are an active participant with European and international committees to develop standardised test methods which, in conjunction with the resource of our information centre, ensures we are fully up-to-date with the correct, most applicable, standards.
