Kahla Porzellan Gets Special Dip Glazing Unit From SAMA
SAMA Maschinenbau GmbH (Weissenstadt, Germany), a company in the SACMI Group and a leader in the field of ceramic tableware production machinery, has supplied a specially designed MONO 10 T type automatic dip glazing machine to KAHLA/Thüringen Porzellan GmbH (Kahla, Germany).
This machine is suitable for the glazing of rim glazed cups and cups with glaze-free rim to be fired.
The complete system from SAMA includes the following accessories:
-- Dedusting cabin with feeding section
-- Bottom stamping via pad printing procedure in the feeding section
-- Swinging and turning process with integrated vertical stroke to optimise the glazing process
-- 180° turning device to either sponge the rim or the foot at the twin type article unloading belt
-- Glue belt for cups with glaze-free rim
The start-up of the glazing machine, including all features, took place earlier this year and everything is reported to be working to the full satisfaction of the client in terms of both production quality and quantity.
