Amedica Announces New Global Headquarters

Amedica Corporation (Salt Lake City, UT, USA), a spinal and orthopaedic implant and instrument company focused on unique silicon nitride ceramic technologies, has just announced that it has moved into a newly constructed 57,000 square foot global headquarters.

Bucking the national trend, Amedica's development and growth in recent years has created the need for the new, larger, multifunctional facility. Amedica believes the new space will support another two to three years of steady growth. The new location comes with an option on the adjacent property, providing an additional 100,000 square feet when needed.

The corporate offices moved in mid-August and manufacturing will move into a 28,000 square foot area later this year.

"The Board of Directors and entire Amedica team are pleased to be in the position of growth which enables the company to move to our new facility. This move will support our domestic and international growth as we continue to capture additional market share. Designing and constructing your own facility that properly addresses all of your immediate and foreseeable needs is clearly advantageous as we continue to focus on quick, responsive customer care," said Ben Shappley, CEO, President and Director.

Amedica Corporation is ISO 13485 certified and its products are CE approved. It is an emerging orthopaedic implant company focused on using its silicon nitride ceramic technologies to develop and commercialise a broad range of innovative, unique spine and total joint implants for the growing orthopaedic device market. It has brought to market various spinal implant products, while products under development include reconstructive hip and knee implants that may represent a new standard of care in total joint implants based on superior performance, safety and efficacy.
