Gaiotto Robot at Heart of New Fine Fireclay Line

Ceramica Vulcano Srl (Civita Castellana, VT, Italy) has installed a new glazing line at its sanitaryware plant. A Gaiotto-made GA2000 robot plays a pivotal role in the newly started up plant.

The glazing line installed by Sacmi at the Ceramica Vulcano plant is designed to glaze fine fireclay pieces.

This standard plant comes complete with a four-position turret, transfer systems with automatic line loading/unloading and a GA2000 robot.

The latter, the GA2000, is described as an ideal and extremely versatile ceramic glazing solution: tried and tested, reliable, precise and efficient. The company added that outstanding finished product quality is guaranteed, especially when, as in this case, the GA2000 is integrated with the Mass Control system, which constantly monitors the amount of glaze effectively delivered.
