Ceramics & Architecture Project Culminates in Two Exhibits

The exhibition 'Ceramics & Architecture' shows how exciting ceramics in architecture can be. The international exhibition is the result of the five-year project Ceramics & Architecture of the European Ceramic Work Centre (.ekwc) in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

The works, developed by the 75 architects, artists and designers, are exhibited in two locations: the Klokgebouw and the Faculty of Architecture at the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). The grand finale of the five-year project is the publication of a book about all the projects, supplemented by extensive background information and essays that illuminate the subject from different angles. During the exhibition, the book will be on sale for the special price of €5.

The official opening of Ceramics & Architecture will take place on Sunday 18 October at 16:00h in Hal 2, Klokgebouw Strijp S. This event will also provide the opportunity for participants to say farewell to .ekwc’s director Koos de Jong, who will end his 10 years of directorship by having organised .ekwc's biggest exhibition ever.
