Dates Set For Tecnargilla 2010

Whilst the advertising campaign is about to start, the dates for the twenty-second edition of Tecnargilla – to be held at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy – have been announced as 27 September to 1 October 2010. Tecnargilla will once again be held during the same period as Cersaie in Bologna, allowing foreign visitors to more easily visit both events. Fiera Rimini said that the experience of the 2008 event convinced them to confirm this strategic decision.

Fiera Rimini also stated: “The 2008 edition confirmed Tecnargilla to be the undisputed world leader for suppliers to the ceramics and brick industries. A gross exhibition space of 80,000 square metres, 31,432 visitors, up 1.9% on 2006, and over 700 exhibitors are the key figures for the last edition. The most positive note is certainly the strong attendance of foreign visitors, representing 39.2% of Tecnargilla 2008’s total public. This was a net percentage increase compared to the 35.9% for the 2006 edition. The top ten countries of origin of our visitors include all major ceramics production countries”.

The announcement of these dates for next year confirm the organiser’s decision to keep Tecnargilla on a biennial schedule. The show will once again play host to the themed sections present in the previous event: Kromatech, the aesthetics and colour showcase, now in its fourth edition and increasingly successful in terms of attendance and operator appreciation; Claytech, the section dedicated to brick technology, already with two editions of Tecnargilla under its belt; and for the third time, Kermat, the section specifically devised for advanced ceramics.
