Perttu Louhiluoto to Lead Metso’s EMEA Market Area
Metso reports that Perttu Louhiluoto has been appointed its Senior Vice President, EMEA market area, Mining and Construction Technology, effective 1 July 2009. He will be responsible for sales and services delivery and customer contacts in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Mr Louhiluoto has worked as SVP, Operational Excellence at Metso Group’s Head Office, Finland, since October 2008. Due to his new position he will renounce his membership in the Metso Executive Team and Metso Executive Forum.
“Louhiluoto’s career in Metso has so far been short but first-rate. His effort is now needed in line management’s responsible position. I believe that this kind of job rotation is beneficial for both Metso as well as for Louhiluoto himself. We all wish him all the best in the new challenging position,” said Jorma Eloranta, President and CEO, Metso Group.
