Ivanhoe Introduces Ceramic Membrane Technology
Ivanhoe Wastewater Services Ltd (Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada) has added another piece of technology to its systems – Ceramic Flatsheet Membrane Technology, or C-MBR.
This innovation was developed and manufactured in Germany and provides Ivanhoe’s clients with the option of using wastewater effluent as a renewable resource across a number of applications.
C-MBR technology is also more durable and requires less maintenance than traditional polymeric membrane technology, which means systems are more reliable in remote locations and reduce the risk of high maintenance and service costs. The rugged design is also more resistant in extremely cold temperatures.
This technology will be introduced throughout the remainder of 2009.
