New Flat Extruded Tile Line for Spanish Producer
Following the fulfilment of the last body preparation plant, equipped with a continuous mill and atomiser, Benesol Pavimentos Cerámicos, a tile manufacturer based in Alcudia de Crespins (Valencia, Spain), continues to turn to SITI-B&T Group (Formigine, MO, Italy) as its technological partner for the creation of a new flat extrusion tile production line.
The plant consists of a chamber dryer that holds 13 boxes, a storage line with laser guided vehicles that serves both the extrusion line and the chamber dryer and a cutting edge single channel roller kiln of 82 metres in length.
The installation of the new line within the existing plant will enable the Valencian tile manufacturer to produce new ranges, consequently increasing its production potentials and improving the line’s management efficiency thanks to the fact that it is totally automated. Another strong point is the possibility to maximise the yield offered by energy savings in the firing and drying phases, thanks to the energy saving devices supplied with the new machines installed, designed within the Project, Research & Development departments of the group’s Green Energy division.
The technological centre of SITI-B&T has also cooperated with Benesol to develop a new body based on the customer’s requests and needs, improving the quality yields and also the H2O absorption properties.
