Sanikey Chooses GA 2000 Robot
Described as extremely versatile and suitable for the glazing of both vitreous china (VC) and fine fireclay sanitaryware, Gaiotto Automation’s GA 2000 glazing robot has turned out to be the ideal solution for the Turkish manufacturer Sanikey.
Once again Sanikey has chosen Sacmi as its preferred supplier in order to implement its product development and investment strategies. These are based on the main objective of obtaining further quality improvement in its production output.
Sanikey has entered the market with great success as a manufacturer of top-of-the-range sanitaryware articles in Turkey and, thanks to the new GA 2000 machine just installed and already started up for production, the company is in a position to guarantee an excellent standard of quality in its finished product. The system is further perfected by the combination of the robotised glazing system with the Mass Control system for controlling the glaze delivered.
The Gaiotto plant allows Sanikey to make a final leap in quality giving it new important prospects for commercial development on the European market too. At the moment, Sanikey's Istanbul factory is able to turn out 200,000 pieces per year both in VC and in fireclay.
