Indian Ceramics 2010 Draws on Success of 2009 Event

As the doors closed on the 4th Indian Ceramic Materials, Machinery, Supplies & Technology Show, the organisers Gattaca Communications pronounced the event a major success, pointing to its position as a key date in South Asia’s exhibition calendar.

In fact bookings have already started to come in at an unprecedented rate for the 2010 event, say the organisers.

“Clearly the industry can see that for the foreseeable future, the Indian ceramic industry is likely to be the most vibrant not just in Asia, but arguably on a global level,” said Kevin Hudson, Event Director for Indian Ceramics 2010.

“Basing the event, now in its fifth year, in Gujarat has seen us place a highly targeted exhibition in the midst of an extremely exciting manufacturing base. The Indian Ceramics event has been growing every year since its inception and we see 2010 as being a major breakthrough year for the industry.”

Certainly the early bookings would confirm this. Already substantial numbers of the 2009 exhibitors have reconfirmed their positions, many with enhanced positions and size.

“After opening bookings just 2 weeks ago, we’ve already seen 35% of the space go immediately. We anticipate that all of the 2009 exhibitors will want to return (IC2009 sold out all its available stand space) meaning that even though we have upgraded facilities again and expanded the space available, new companies wanting to get involved in the fastest growing show and industry around will need to move fast,” added Mr Hudson.

“From the feedback that we received both during the show and afterwards, it was clear that we continue to have an event that is a fixture in the Ceramic Industry World Calendar. Our investment in the Indian industry continues to be justly rewarded by an excellent following from the country’s, and indeed the region’s, manufacturers.”
