Tile & Sanitaryware Cold Treatment System at Cersaie

The Hi Coat Coating System brand will be present for the first time with its own stand at Cersaie 2009, to be held in Bologna from 29 September to 3 October 2009 (hall 16, stand A27). The stand will showcase the innovative Hi Coat cold treatment system patented by the Sassuolo-based Ancora Group and designed to clean and protect installed porcelain tile (polished, lapped and satin finished) and natural stone floors.

Hi Coat Coating System was developed as a partnership between Ancora Group, world leader in the design and production of end-of-line plants for ceramic and third-party processing, and the German chemicals firm Nano Quadrat (Altheim, Germany).

The easy-to-use Hi Coat cold treatment system is able to clean and protect the surface of installed tiles, making them abrasion resistant and problem-free. It is aimed at dealers, installers and cleaning firms, as well as ceramic tile manufacturers for product maintenance and protection. Its solvent-free water based formula makes it suitable for all indoor applications, including public and private buildings (schools, hospitals, shopping centres, restaurants and private homes).

Hi Coat comes in three series of treatment products: Ceramic Tiles for porcelain tile, Natural Stones for granite, marble and terracotta and Easy Clean for shower enclosures, glass surfaces, ceramic sanitaryware and wall coverings.

Products from the Cleaner & activator line, available in the two versions (dark surfaces and light surfaces), can be used to clean each of these materials and surfaces, while the Protective line has been patented for protection at the end of treatment. The Easy Clean treatment is complemented by Revitalizer, which helps to revive the treatment and provide lasting protection.

In the development of the new Hi Coat cold treatment, the Ancora Group drew on all of its know-how to design and create a new mechanical technology and exploited its production and marketing capabilities, while the German firm provided its specialist expertise in the field of nanotechnologies.
