The formation of the SlipSTD consortium has allowed the integration of parties and stakeholders to provide an acceptable resolution consistent with the complexity of the technical issues involved. To accomplish this, the SlipSTD consortium was composed by slip industry experts (Health and Safety laboratory and FIOH) and the leadership of CEN/TC67 on ceramic tiles alongside representatives of ceramic tile manufacturers and architects.

The project started on the 1st August 2006 and will last for 36 months.
SlipSTD project is co-financed by the European Commission through the Sixth Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (Horizontal Research Activities involving SMEs - Collective Research Scheme).
