Chris holds a Licentiate in Ceramics and has over thirty-five years of experience in the production, development, calibration and QC of colour standards and reflectance at CERAM.
Chris is a Member of the Institute of Materials Minerals and Mining (MIMMM), Colour Measurement Committee of the Society of Dyers and Chemists and BSI Committee STI/014 - Colour Measurement and Schedules.
Chris contributed to the development of CERAMs Colour Standards Series II which was rewarded with the Queens Award for Technology. Through his knowledge of the colour calibration industry, Chris developed CERAMs UKAS accredited calibration laboratory (No. 0420), the only reflectance calibration service outside of the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).
During his career at CERAM, Chris has produced several papers on the use of colour standards in colour measurement.
