CERAM Provides Stone Solutions

Experts from CERAM were on hand at the Natural Stone Show 2008, to give advice and guidance on all the testing that is required to meet the ever changing and stringent British and European natural stone product standards.

CERAM has expertise and in-depth knowledge on all applications including; floors, stairs, roofing, internal and external cladding, and products such as natural stone, tiles and masonry, covering British and European required standards. The biggest advantage is that the team at CERAM, specialising in testing and site inspections, comprises a number of highly qualified and experienced people who understand the products and the industry.

Geoff Edgell heads up CERAM's Building and Technology division and commented;
“The influx of natural stone companies importing into the UK in the last couple of years has increased dramatically. This means that the popularity of using natural stone has grown, but with this must grow an attention to detail and to the specified required standards”

Indeed the whole of the UK construction industry is under increased pressure to meet required standards for its products and processes. Manufacturers, who are keen to get it right, can be forgiven for finding the maze of requirements hard to follow. CERAM is geared up to make sure that we can give the right advice, and carry out the tests, quickly and efficiently.
