Winkworth Introduces New Twin Shaft Fluidising Mixers

Winkworth Machinery Ltd (Swallowfield, Reading, England) has further extended its product range with the introduction of a new series of twin shaft mixers, featuring easy to clean, overlapping profiled paddle blades. The new range - from 20 litre to 2,000 litre working capacities - offers fast and gentle mixing of powders, flakes and granules, with the added benefit of what is described as a unique profiled blade to ensure that the new mixers are quick and easy to clean and maintain.

Developed by the company's in-house team of designers and engineers, the new range also incorporates all of the latest standard features developed by Winkworth. Seals around the lid have been designed for ease of maintenance and hygiene, while the near full-length bomb doors feature easily replaceable seals and enable very fast discharge.

Available with a number of options, the twin shaft fluidising mixers can also be supplied with multi-paddle blades featuring a twin, overlapping paddle design. Adjustable packing glands with split removable housings are available for most models and spray bars can be fitted for liquid addition. Side access doors and heating panels are also available. Optional drives can be fitted to ensure the rapid mixing of dense materials.

The mixers are manufactured from descaled mild steel or stainless steel with the option of glass beading and polished finishes. Models are available for testing either on-site at customers' premises or at Winkworth's test laboratory.
