Special Tile Plant Inaugurated in Ukraine

A new technical porcelain tile plant - Zeus Ceramica - has been inaugurated in Ukraine. The plant, with a daily output of 6,500 sq.m. of tile, is the result of a joint venture between Emilceramica (Fiorano, MO, Italy) and the Ukraine-based Yug. The new plant also allows for the future installation of a porcelain tile glazing line as well as the doubling of the capacity of the existing line.

Present at the inauguration ceremony at the site of the plant in Slavyansk were majority shareholder, Yug Viktor Levit; Managing Director of Emilceramica, Sergio Sassi; Mayor of Slavyansk, Anatoly Levit; Mayor of Fiorano Modenese, Claudio Pistoni; and from Sacmi (Imola, BO, Italy) - which supplied the tile presses, dryers, kilns and sorting line for the factory - Sacmi Imola General Manager Eugenio Emiliani and Sacmi Moscow General Manager Michele Pulpito.
