Turkish Brickmaker Expands

Expansion and improvement have been achieved at Ar-Tug Tugla Ltd STI (Iskenderun) which was formed in 1989 and which was the first semi-automatic brick plant in Turkey. Its sister company, Arsan Machine Industry Co (Corum, Turkey), is also part of the Ar-San Group and provides specialist systems.

The initial established capacity of Ar-Tug was 350 tons per day of fired bricks which, as a result of following new technological opportunities, has subsequently been raised to 450 tons per day. At the same time as increasing output, Ar-Tug has also changed and modernised many aspects of its production process and systems in order produce the best quality brick possible and keep customer satisfaction as its number one target.

The company produces all the standard types of brick used in Turkey and has also designed and chosen the necessary machine section for the production of export product.
