High Performance Engineering Themed Network Meeting Technology Transfer Workshop
Thursday 7 October 2004 at CERAM
The High Performance Engineering HPE Network promotes the development and growth of business within the high performance sector of motor racing, other motor sports, motorbikes, speed boats, go karting, water sports and aircraft.
CERAM and the Shropshire Chamber Business Link have got together to provide a themed Network meeting. This will take the form of a workshop to explain the technology transfer potentials available at CERAM. It will give companies in the HPE project and other companies in the same industrial sector an opportunity to learn about technologies and techniques available to help them develop better and more competitive products. The meeting will involve speakers on Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamic modelling, alloy selection and forming, surface analysis and factory process simulation and design. The workshop will also include a question and answer session and the opportunity for the companies themselves to give a brief resume of their activities prior to an informal networking session over lunch and a tour of CERAM.
