KEMET Launches Ceramic Commercial Tin/Lead Termination Series
KEMET Corp (Greenville, SC, USA) has launched its L Series, a range of ceramic commercial surface mount capacitors with tin/lead terminations. This is in response to the concerns and needs of the military, space and high reliability electronics community.
The capacitors are available in commercial surface mount EIA sizes from 0402 to 2225. The L Series dielectric availability includes X5R, X7R and C0G dielectrics which are the most widely used in the industry. Voltage ratings are available from 6.3V up to 200V.
Capacitance ranges in the new series include all commercially available ceramic surface mount MLCC capacitors from low capacitance 0.5pF up to high capacitance 47uF depending on case size and voltage rating selection. The L series capacitors contain tin/lead terminations with a minimum 5% lead content.
