FLIR Systems Introduces ThermaCAM™ T-Series Thermal Imaging Camera

FLIR Systems Inc (Portland, OR, USA) has announced the launch of its new 'middle market' T-Series thermal imaging camera range. The T-Series platform is said to offer thermographers in industrial and building inspection markets an excellent combination of high performance at an affordable price.

The new ThermaCAM™ T-Series features FLIR's own high performance 320 x 240 uncooled infrared detectors and includes FLIR's new Thermal Fusion functionality which selectively combines thermal and visual images for easier identification and interpretation of an infrared image. With multiple lens options, removable storage capability, lightweight and ergonomic design, an enhanced software platform, voice annotation, auto focus and many other features, the T-Series is claimed to offer the thermographer a complete, cost effective solution.

Initial ThermaCAM™ T-Series product variants include the ThermaCAM™ T-360 and T-400 cameras –  which were designed for industrial users –  and the ThermaCAM™ B-360 and B-400 cameras which will benefit thermographers who specialise in building inspections.

Initial deliveries of the T-Series cameras will begin in the current quarter.

"The introduction of the T-Series product family is an excellent addition to an already strong product line-up and highlights FLIR's leadership in the thermography market," said Earl Lewis, President and CEO of FLIR Systems Inc. "With industry leading thermal imaging cameras at every price point from the entry level InfraCAM™ Series to the high-definition ThermaCAM™ P-Series, we believe the Thermography Division is well positioned for the future."
