British Ceramic Tile Opens New Sales & Service Centre

British Ceramic Tile (Heathfield, Newton Abbot, Devon, England), generally known as BCT in the market, has announced the opening of an expanded Sales and Service Centre at its Heathfield site. This new centre is opening as BCT's factory expansion programme gets underway – almost trebling production at the site. It is also part of the company's continued commitment to improve and develop the services it offers its customers. The centre opened in August.

BCT reported that it was continuing to expand both on site and across the country. Since the beginning of this year the company has won several significant contracts and, more recently, has increased its share of allocated space at Homebase by 28%. This success means that BCT is now the biggest tile supplier to the chain and this is seen as a fantastic result for the Devon based company.

The new sales and service centre has meant an increase of 20% in the number of staff in that section. BCT now provides a specialist member of staff for each sector, enabling it to offer the best service possible. The company said: “This important move for BCT reflects the growth and development of the business and is part of its commitment to provide long term employment opportunities to the local community”.
