Spanish Plant Gets New Glazed Floor Tile Production Line
A second glazed floor tile production line to carry the Sacmi signature - one which produces flat 46cm x 46cm extruded tiles - has now gone into operation at Keramia Ceramicas at Moncofar, situated in the Spanish province of Castellon.
The plant consists of a horizontal E4P 2850/29.9-metre roller dryer, a multi-layer FMS 2230 roller kiln (length 69.3 metres), a rack-type fired product storage system with loading/unloading suction table machines and a high-speed sorting and palletising line.
The second of its type to be manufactured by Sacmi (Imola, BO, Italy) for Keramia, this production line for ceramic floor tile is said to be packed with modern technology and outstanding production performance.
