Vietnam Tile Venture Opens Capital City Showroom
VNS reports that My Duc Ceramic Tile Company - already with bases in Ho Chi Minh City and Tan Thanh - has launched a showroom in Hanoi.The company, a joint venture, was established in 1996 with US$37 million in capital and an annual capacity of 3.2 million square metres of ceramic tile under the Eurotile brand.
In the first half of the year, My Duc exported 200,000 square metres of tile to Australia, Korea, Singapore and the USA.
It is reported to have been the first tile sector enterprise in Vietnam to receive the ISO 9001:2000 quality certification.
