CARBO Ceramics Announces Grand Opening of Russian Facility

CARBO Ceramics Inc (Irving, TX, USA) has announced that it will host activities to recognise the grand opening of its new proppant production facility in Kopeysk, Russia. The plant has recently completed the start-up process and should reach full design capacity of 100 million pounds per year in the near future.

It will produce CARBO's intermediate strength and lightweight proppants: CARBOProp® and CARBOLite®. Marketing of CARBO products and services in Russia is coordinated through the company's sales office in Moscow.

The quality of the proppant that it is producing is already in high demand from our Russian clients."
