Tecnargilla Meeting Point for Offers and Requests for Ceramic Technology
At Tecnargilla, innovation and technology will take centre stage at the fourth edition of the Ceramic TTD, one of the initiatives devoted to technology transfer in the ceramic sector.
Organised by ACIMAC and ISTEC-CNR (Institute of Ceramic Materials Science and Technology and the National Research Council) of Faenza, CeramicTTD is a Technology Transfer Day for ceramic materials, processes and plants which aims to promote contacts between the world of research and the world of business in the field of innovation and technology transfer.
Ceramic TTD is aimed at Italian and European companies, universities, research institutes and other players offering innovative technologies and know-how in all fields in which ceramic materials may have applications.
Ceramic TTD has an Internet presence at www.ceramicttd.it where offers and requests for innovative technologies can be posted. The offers and requests are visible on the site and interested parties are still in time to request a meeting with companies proposing the technology during Tecnargilla.
These confidential bilateral meetings will be held in a dedicated area at Tecnargilla for the entire duration of the show.The Ceramic TTD presentation conference will be held on Friday 29 September at 2.30pm and this year focuses essentially on the research funding opportunities offered by the European Union (in particular the 7th Framework Programme) and presentation of examples of successful research projects carried through jointly by companies and research institutes in the ceramic sector.
Ceramic TTD presents offers and requests for technology in various fields, including product innovation (materials for building and furnishing, floor and wall coverings, heavy clay products, advanced and technical ceramics for structural, electrical, biomedical applications etc) and process and plant innovation (machinery and equipment for the ceramic industry, innovative quality and process control systems, product decoration, internal logistics etc). It also addresses contents such as innovative materials and components for process equipment, quality management and certification systems for ceramic companies, furnishings and equipment for the ceramic sector and so on.
