German Ceramic Machinery Company Extends Asia-Wide Operations
It has long been a major strategic goal of the company - says Maschinenfabrik Gustav Eirich GmbH (Hardheim, Germany) - to open up Asia as a market for its products and technologies.
Having already set up a production centre in Japan and also subsidiaries in South Korea and China, the company has just announced that the production of the first Eirich machines in India has now got underway.
Eirich-Transweigh (India) Ltd (Mumbai, India) is a joint venture with the Indian partner Transweigh (India) Ltd. Transweigh has been established for many years as a supplier of weighing, controlling and conveying systems for the bulk materials industry.
It is planned to expand the Eirich-Transweigh production range in line with the needs of the Indian market.
Eirich says that as a result of the formation of the new Eirich company, the Indian market can look forward to receiving the most modern material preparation technology plus close customer relations plus quick and efficient service. Eirich and its partner Transweigh will design and build turnkey plants in India based on the German company's know-how.
