Marazzi Group Reinforces Collaboration With System
Marazzi Group and System, leaders in their fields, have strengthened their business relationship recently by the installation of several technologically advanced plants.
Particularly advanced is the Marazzi factory in Casiglie (Sassuolo), where System has supplied sorting and packaging lines and decorating machines in the glazing section.
The machines developed by System SpA are said to respond perfectly to the necessities of their customer: the sorting and packaging EASY LINE BS06, like the FALCON MILLENNIUM portal palletiser are able to easily manage large format tiles up to 1200mm x 1200mm.
The plant, that uses a group of five Rotocolor S5 Universal heads and another group of three heads of S5 XXX "BS" for the decorating phase, operating for just a few of months, has already reached the foreseen production output completely satisfying Marazzi Group.
Furthermore, in the Marazzi factory in Fiorano, where glazed single fired tiles are produced, the sorting and the end of production lines have been fully updated, by inserting three FV03 Easy Lines complete with quality control devices, Falcon Millennium palletisers and automatic Qualitron NG selecting systems.
In this month of September the automatic pallet handling system with laser guided vehicles will start its function. The new configuration of this completely automatic department will enable the management of the production, currently on two shifts, constantly 24 hours daily.
During the autumn System will also supply its technology to the plant of Marazzi Group in Sassuolo, where a Falcon Millennium palletiser and a series of Rotocolor decorating machines are scheduled for delivery.
Outside Italy, System plants are already operating in Marazzi factories in Spain (two Easy Line FV03 lines and two Falcon Millennium palletisers) and in the United States, where the decorating department of American Marazzi Tile has been reinforced with three groups of Rotocolor S4LL decorating machines.
