Linn Introduces Vacuum Test Dryer

Linn High-Therm GmbH (Eschenfelden, Germany) has introduced a new microwave vacuum test dryer to the market.

The new test dryer features a useful space of 200mm diameter by 2500mm length with large opening for loading at 600mm. The new Linn unit has been designed for flexible use with different atmospheres possible (inlet/exhaust air, protective gas, rough vacuum 10 mbar).

The dryer operates via microwave power rated at 9.6 kW (12x 800W), continuously adjustable between 15% and 100%.

Optional extras include a smoke detector (not under vacuum) and an extinguishing system (water, not under vacuum).

Typical applications are as a universal test unit customisable for different sectors, e.g. drying of wood, ceramics, chemicals, food, building materials, fibre reinforced materials (glass- and carbon fibre), etc.
