Kanthal Scotland Sells Surplus Machinery

Kanthal Ltd (Perth, Scotland) has contracted exclusively with Mohr Corp in the USA to sell its surplus machinery and equipment in the quickest possible time for the highest price possible. The sale includes two pieces of Dorst machinery.

New in 1992 as Model V15Sp, one Dorst vacuum deairing extruder is complete and has many spares included such as shredders, liners and screws. The screws are rated as designed suitable for extrusion of high wear materials like tungsten carbide powders prepared for extrusion.

A Model V10SpH Dorst vacuum deairing extruder is said to be suitable for adding heating for feeding and for the compression screw/worm. This feature was not used on this machine at this Kanthal location so accessories may be needed to the machine itself if heating is required. Some spares are included.

Also included in the sale is an AMK Z-blade mixer, Type VIU, with a capacity of 110 litres and this is offered with spare wear plates for the chamber. Spare blades are also available but are uncoated.
