Interbuild Aims for 'The Right Combination'

In under 12 months' time, the doors will open to the UK's largest building and construction exhibition at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 9-13 June 2002. Interbuild 2002 now combines all elements of the building and construction process, from doors, windows and bathrooms to electrical, lighting and structural building products. The organiser say that it will be easier to access, easier to register, easier to get to and easier to do business.

The new, logical layout of the halls has been designed so that related areas are next to each other. This will make it easier for visitors to plant their trip and mean that they will spend more time doing business.

In 2000, over 34,000 visitors registered through the website. For 2002, even more visitors traffic is expected with an intensive marketing campaign including advertising and over two million tickets directing visitors to the site. This has recently been completely revamped with added features and functionality to ensure that it contains all the information a visitor needs to help plan their visit and register for the show.

Interbuild takes place just a week after Queen Elizabeth's Golden Jubilee and will capitalise on the association by running a number of initiatives with the 50/50 tag line. Within the halls there will be an area displaying the best products and innovations from the last 50 years and looking forward to the next 50 years. These will be selected by a panel of key industry luminaries and voted for by visitors through the web site.
