Asian Insulator Manufacturer Lined Up for Further Expansion
Hoang Lien Son Technical Ceramics Company, otherwise known as HOCERATEC, is in the process of implementing the third phase of its project for investment and production expansion. A new kiln will be installed for firing porcelain insulators, the bidding for which had a submission deadline of 30 September 2003.
The company is based in Yen Bai City in the Yen Bai Province of Vietnam and exports porcelain ceramic insulators in the Asian market. This phase of the production expansion is understood to represent an investment of some US$2 million and is aimed at increasing capacity by 50%.
