Sacmi to Showcase Latest Innovations at Tecnargilla

Sacmi (Imola, BO, Italy) aims to reinforce its role as the leading innovator in the ceramic industry with a gigantic exhibition area of over 2,000 square metres in Hall B1 of the upcoming Tecnargilla exhibition (1-5 October) in Rimini.

The group will have the PH4900 high productivity press range (4,900 tons max pressing force) centre stage and the new Monolithos DCM 175 filler box for whole-body products. Also featured will be the Sailor control panel and Global, the double-arm sorting line.

In the traditional brick and roof tile sector, the focus will be on the Espresso Rooftile, fast firing technology specially designed for roof tiles, and the Gresestruso Rapido(tm), a porcelain tile production method that uses extrusion technology.

For sanitaryware, the Libra CC(tm), an innovative system for the control of high pressure casting cycles and Glasting(tm), the glaze casting procedure that glazes the inner surface of WC bowls, will be on show.

Other group companies participating include: Sacmi Molds & Dies, which will reveal the most advanced version of its renowned SFS upper moulding die; Kemac with its Cross Cut automatic systems for the abrasive water-jet cutting and decoration of tiles; Keratech which will display its entire range of rollers; NIV which will be exhibiting its ADM080 single-mould, high pressure (up to 15 bar) sanitaryware casting machine, together with a demoulding and handling robot from Gaiotto, a company also exhibiting pre-drying finishing solutions for the completed green product.

Finally, the Sacmi Whitewares stand will be hosting specialists from SAMA Maschinenbau GmbH, the leading tableware system supplier which joined the group in 1997, as well as two independent stands illustrating the recent German acquisitions - Laeis and Riedhammer.
