Major Sanitaryware Plant Goes Under the Hammer Next Month

A major sale of ceramic sanitaryware manufacturing plant plus real estate will take place on 10 September 2003 as the Mansfield Plumbing operation in Kilgore, TX, USA goes under the hammer of CRG Auctions.

Much of the plant has only been installed since 1998, including two Porvair SP 70 pressure casting units; a Nutro two-stage spray finisher with water-wash filtration system; Thermic continuous dual chamber, gas-fired tunnel dryer; KMI heat treat/steel fixture plant; 400-foot automated power roller conveyor; Lambert palletising system with connected IPM pallet wrapper.

This is just a fraction of an extensive list of plant, other elements of which were installed earlier in the 1990s. In addition to all the plant is a 500,000 square foot manufacturing and warehouse complex set in 31.5 acres of main parcel (additional 23.5 acres excess parcel). Zoned for heavy manufacturing on main parcel. Average ceiling is 17ft with 10 truck doors in warehouse and eight additional in production (all auto-dock levellers).

The full list and some illustrations are on the auction web pages at: www.crgauction.com/docs/mansfield/terms_of_sale_mansfield.html
