Guatemala to Host XXXII Congress of ALAFAR
The XXXII Congress and XXXVII Assembly of ALAFAR (Association of Latin-American Refractory Manufacturers) will take place in Antigua, Guatemala and will begin with a welcome cocktail on 7 November 2004 and close with a farewell banquet on the night of 10 November 2004.
The theme this year is 'Technological and Logistical Leadership in a Global Environment' and the organisers said they believed that this theme would provide delegates with actual and future technological outlooks in the areas of raw materials, equipment, product application, processes, environment and others. Proactive discussions could be developed between those present.
There are various special arrangements for delegates, such as discounted hotel rates and the social events will be free of charge for all registered members and accompanying guests. There will also be a delegate discount of 10% for additional persons registered from the same company AND same country, as long as they are ALAFAR members and fully paid up at the time of registration.
