Grey Urethane Coating now available

Corr-Paint^TM CP2020, a new high temperature, light grey, high performance paint and coating system developed by Aremco Products is now offered for providing corrosion resistance on aluminium and steel components and structures used in demanding industrial applications up to 205°C.

Aremco's new product is a single part, room temperature curing, light grey, urethane paint and coating system that can be used for sealing and protecting components and structures found in the chemical processing, foundry, oil refining, power generation and pulp and paper industries.

It is said to be easily applied using conventional pneumatic spray equipment, brush or roller. It can be applied to relatively smooth surfaces or directly to oxidised metals frequently found in maintenance applications. It is said to demonstrate exceptional wetting and adhesion to marginally prepared surfaces and cures rapidly at room temperature to a tough, non-porous, abrasion and corrosion resistant film.

The product is designed to provide excellent resistance to high temperature oxidation and various solvents, oils, alkalis and acids. Extensive immersion testing has been performed using acetic, nitric, phosphoric, hydrochloric and sulphuric acids; sodium hydroxide, gasoline, methyl ethyl ketone and isopropyl alcohol have also been tested with success. CP2020 has survived long-term salt fog, salt spray and humidity testing of over 1,000 hours.

Typical applications include boilers, ovens, furnaces, pipelines, tanks, bag houses, precipitators, scrubbers, cyclones, hoppers and other high temperature equipment. It is available from stock in US pint, quart, gallon and 5-gallon buckets.
