Porcelain Tiles Mark Grespania's Second-Stage Expansion

The Grespania Cerámica company (Castellón, Spain) has now completed its industrial development plan for increased porcelain tile production. The project focussed on the Castellón plant where, in May, a new production line was installed and started up.

Once again the company decided to rely on Sacmi's vast wealth of experience in this area, ordering two PH6200 press lines, an EVA 984 vertical dryer, an ELS 1/3 tunnel dryer and a 109.2 metre-long FTP kiln with a 2850mm wide infeed.

This new machine pool will complement the one purchased from Sacmi some three years ago when the first stage of the production plant was completed. That plant featured three PH-4900 press lines, an EVA 983 vertical dryer, an ELS 1/3 tunnel dryer and an FMP 2670/109.2 m kiln.

Thanks to this latest investment Grespania – a company well placed in the Spanish market with various production lines located around the cities of Castellón, Nules and Moncófar – is now ready to produce large porcelain tiles even more competitively and efficiently.
