Major German Furnace Deal
Industrial Heating (www.industrialheating.com) reports that Metall Technologie Holding (MTH) GmbH (Menden, Dortmund, Germany) has acquired a 50% share in IVA Industrieoefen GmbH, also a Dortmund based company.
IVA, founded in 1984, manufactures protective gas and vacuum heat treatment furnaces and generates an annual turnover of approximately 17 million. Apart from furnace manufacture, IVA also develops new hardware and software systems.
MTH, founded in 1999, comprises B.M.I Fours Industriels (Lyons, France), Mahler GmbH Industrieofenbau (Plochingen, Germany) and Schmetz GmbH Vakuumoefen (Menden, Germany). Together with IVA, these four furnace manufacturers will generate an annual turnover of approximately 55 million and employ a total of 200 people.
