Launch of Furnaces Italy 2001

dmg world media (uk) ltd, the organiser of the successful Furnaces 2000 at Stoneleigh Exhibition Centre (Warks, England), has announced the launch of Furnaces Italy 2001. Designed specifically for the heat treatment and thermal processing industry, this major exhibition will be held in the Quark Hotel, Milan, Italy on 9-10 May 2001 to capitalise and expand upon new business opportunities available in the region.

In conjunction with the industry publication 'Metallurgia', the event, says dmg, is guaranteed to provide an invaluable platform to learn about the latest international processes, equipment, materials and products/services for a wide range of industrial heating applications.

Exhibit categories include: all types of furnace equipment (electric and gas) for ferrous and non-ferrous metals and other materials processing; heat treatment, reheating and melting; surface modification, recycling, induction, microwave/laser, magnetic, electron beam and other high tech areas; ovens, kilns, dryers, lehrs and incinerators; consumables for furnace manufacture; burners and elements; refractories and insulation; controls and instrumentation; energy suppliers; fume and dust extraction; consultancies; furnace repairers; and materials handling.

As an added attraction and to complement the whole event, a Technology Transfer Conference will be organised in parallel with the exhibition. This will comprise a comprehensive programme of presentations specialists in their fields to expand upon the innovations in plant and production techniques in a wide range of thermal process applications for metals and materials.
