Breath of Fresh Air in Roof Space Ventilation

Said to be ideal for use in restoration projects, new build and existing roofs, Daniel Platt Ltd (Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs) has introduced natural clay finish In-Line Tile Vents, designed to fit flush in the roofscape, taking up the space of just three tiles.

"With a beautiful range of natural clay roof tiles on offer, we wanted to provide a ventilation solution that would blend in perfectly with the overall roofscape," commented Daniel Platt's Roofing Products Sales Manager, David Osborn. "Virtually invisible when fitted, our In-Line Tile Vent is available in five natural clay finishes. Where required, special finishes are also available."

Suitable for high and low level ventilation of roof voids, the vents provide a 6,250 square millimetre free vent area. When used with the company's adapter system they can also provide discreet ventilation for mechanical extraction systems and 'through roof' soil pipes.

Daniel Platt added that in its clay roofing tile range, it provided the opportunity to create highly individual designs, even allowing for natural ageing, the effects of the weather and the environment to meet the most stringent of conservation needs.
