Anglo-French Sales Agreement Signed in Ceramic Decoration Sector

Elmeceram SA (Oradour/Vayres, France) and Reel 2 Real Management Ltd (Cold Meece, Staffordshire, England) have just announced (18 September 2001) the signature of a manufacturing and sales agreement between the companies.

This new agreement will result in Elmeceram, the French based ceramic machinery manufacturer, producing and distributing under licence Reel 2 Real's range of decal printing and application machines.

The range includes decal application machines for mugs, bottles, candles, tiles, flat glass and spark plugs. It also includes Reel 2 Real's web printing press which produces the decals on reel.

Reel 2 Real's managing director Andrew Clare commented: "I think this agreement represents a superb opportunity for Reel 2 Real, as I believe Elmeceram to be a renowned quality engineering company who will be able to immediately increase our production capabilities and also distribute our equipment to a wider, as yet, unexploited market".

Don Jones, managing director of Elmeceram, is also delighted with the deal which he sees as "a perfect addition to Elmeceram's range of equipment". He added: "Reel 2 Real have, over the past few years, developed a number of efficient and highly innovative machines which corresponds exactly to our philosophy of 'Tomorrow's Technology Today'. Apart from manufacturing and distributing the current equipment, the deal also provides for future development and I am firmly convinced that the considerable experience and technical resources of both companies will lead to new, exciting and innovative solutions".
