System Ceramic Division Draws Closer to Egyptian Customers

The Egyptian branch of System SpA (Fiorano, MO, Italy) has now been open for about three months and takes care of the engraving of cylinders and after-sales service for the technology of decoration, sorting lines and palletising plants.

The Egyptian office is in the city of October 6th, near Cairo. With a staff of 13 people, it offers high level service to the local customers that work with SYSTEM Rotocolor, sorting lines and palletisers and who have done over period of around 10 years.

The ceramic tile industry in Egypt is experiencing a great expansion, exploiting the favourable productive conditions and the country's economic development.

The installed capacity is increasing remarkably, just taking into account the number of companies and further investments that are planned for the upcoming six to eight months. Furthermore, its exports are rising, mainly towards the Gulf Countries.

Between 2006 and 2007, System SpA has already sold between more than 100 Rotocolor decorating machines and is a leader in the tile sorting, packaging and automatic palletising departments in this extremely dynamic market.

In this last year, over 50 Rotocolor units have been supplied to Cleopatra Ceramic, among the major tile producers in the world with an output of more than 50 million sq.m per year, for the new factory of Suez. It is equipped with 12 kilns for the production dedicated almost entirely to export.

Royal Ceramic, which uses evolved technology in its recently installed plant, has integrated a third production line with a package including four Rotocolor units, sorting and palletising and Nuova Era storage.

In addition, Al-Omaraa of 10th of Ramadan has chose System as a partner for the sorting department directly connected to the high productivity kilns, while for the decoration it relies completely on Rotocolor.

A similar supply also to Misr International Ceramic, comprising the decoration technology and sorting line for Venezia Ceramic of 6th of October city, has recently become one of System's customers.
