Ceric Gets New Name and Structure

Specialist supplier to the heavy clay and technical ceramics sectors, Ceric (Paris, France) joined the Legris Industries Group in December 2006 and is now reorganising as a Legris Industries Group Division under its new name Keyria.

Keyria brings together five engineering companies offering turnkey solutions: key industry player Ceric plus Adler in France, Keller-HCW in Germany, Morando in Italy and Equipceramic in Spain. Each builds on specialised expertise to offer effective responses for project implementation, the development of engineering solutions, the production of equipment and the delivery of services.

Drawing on the united strengths of these five technology brands with world-wide reputations, Keyria is consolidating its positions through Keyria International, described as the number-one global network for customer support and service in its sector. Keyria customers will thus benefit from the full range of know-how available within the Division, backed up by local presence.

Keyria will also be making the most of its new organisation, combined with a tradition of effective innovation, to extend its technology offering, working in partnership with customers to take the lead with new solutions matching the demands of sustainable development.

To this end, the Division has set up its Keyrialabs to pool the technical, scientific and human resources of its five brands. They will be located in Limoges (France), Asti (Italy) and Laggenbeck (Germany).

Finally, Keyria is continuing the development of its equipment subsidiaries in the fields of raw material preparation and processing (Rieter, Morando, Pelerin, Favole and Alphaplâtre, together with joint venture Ceric-Poittemill), thermal equipment (Ceric-Wistra and CFT) handling (Novoceric, Fimec and Tecauma) and control systems.

Keyria is a Division of the Legris Industries Group. Employing a workforce of over 1,700, it reported sales of €303 million in 2006 and operates 14 industrial sites. The company designs, builds and installs factories and equipment for the production of building materials with clay, gypsum, concrete and technical ceramics. For each project, Keyria's offering covers engineering, project management and after-sales service. It has installed over 1,600 sites to date.
