Branding: Beyond The Backstamp

Three keynote speakers will join members of the Potteries business community at the latest 'Leading By Design' event from the Ceramic Industry Forum. The event, entitled 'Branding: Beyond The Backstamp', will be held at the Staffordshire University Film Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent on 10 September 2003.

The Ceramic Industry Forum has worked in conjunction with the West Midlands branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. to create an event that will allow companies from across the region to hear and learn from leading marketing and brand practitioners working with successful organisations. Delegates at the event will be able to draw on the knowledge of the three speakers - Fiona Myles, a Senior Brand Consultant at Elmwood Design; Simon Page, Marketing Manager at Aga Rayburn; and Ben Spencer, Brand manager at Orange - to gain insight in how to develop and build their own company brand.

The Ceramic Industry Forum works with UK companies to promote and encourage innovation in design, marketing, technology and manufacturing. Gavin Pryke, Design Advisor with the Forum, commented: "The Leading By Design seminars were created as a direct response to industry needs. By truly understanding branding and its commercial advantages we can really transform the future of our UK manufacturing".
