BPB Formula in Thailand
BPB Formula, one of the world's leading suppliers of industrial plasters, has announced that it is to develop a range of ceramic plasters in association with Thai Gypsum Products Plc. The new product will, according to BPB, excel in satisfying all customer requirements.
BPB Formula is part of the BPB group of companies which has recently agreed to acquire a stake of 70.5% in Thai Gypsum Products. BPB Formula was launched in October 1997 and has manufacturing operations in Germany, France, Spain, Romania and the UK. Recent additions to the group include a joint venture with FirstEnergy in the USA.
The company's industrial plasters and gypsum minerals are used in a wide range of applications, including use in the manufacture of moulds for sanitaryware and tableware, the production of models for use in dentistry and for giftware. They are also used to produce plaster bandages, decorative plasterwork and metal castings, amongst others.
