Luzenac Appoints Blagden for GB Role

Luzenac Group has appointed Blagden Specialty Chemicals Ltd (Westerham, Kent, England) as the exclusive distributor of its talc products for Great Britain. Luzenac said that with this decision it would be taking advantage of Blagden's proximity and in-depth knowledge of the UK market to provide its British customers with an enhanced service.

Luzenac claims to be the world's premier talc producer, selling over one million tonnes of talc and talc-related minerals every year. A member of the major international mining group, Rio Tinto, it is a market oriented mining company that owns and manages over 30 mines and processing plants world-wide.
