Change of Dates for bauma China 2006

bauma China 2006 will take place one week later than previously planned. The new trade fair dates are 21-24 November 2006. The organiser, Messe Muenchen GmbH (Munich, Germany), explained that it was complying with a request from domestic and international exhibitors with this schedule change for a longer set-up time for especially large and heavy exhibits as well as high quality trade fair stands.

According to the statement, bauma China 2004 was the most successful and the largest international trade fair for the construction industry in Asia. It featured 738 exhibitors over an exhibition area of 100,000 sq.m. Approximately 50,000 experts from more than 100 countries went to Shanghai for the 2004 event.

Messe Muenchen has said that it will provide around 140,000 sq.m. of exhibition space in the Shanghai New International Expo Center for the 2006 event. The company's CEO Manfred Wutzlhofer said: "We have highly attractive open-air exhibition grounds at bauma China, which no other construction trade fair in Asia can offer in this form. An increasing number of exhibitors are also using this to present exhibits, which of course will increase the attractiveness of bauma China even more for visitors from all regions of China and Asia. The new trade fair dates will make setup and trade fair logistics easier for our exhibitors".
