Super-Productive Ceramic Plant Set for Turkey

The Turkish ceramic manufacturer Usak Seramik has chosen Sacmi as prime supplier to equip the company's all-new plant near the city of Usak.

Said to be one of the most modern tile plants in Turkey, it features two 149.1 metre-long FMS2850 kilns, preceded by 12.6-metre JMS2850 pre-kilns. The daily output rate of the new factory is 24,000 sq.m. of single-fire floor tile and glazed porcelain tile.

To complete the plant, Sacmi has also supplied four complete pressing, drying, glazing and handling lines consisting of two PH3590 and two PH2590 presses. These are capable of covering a wide range of sizes, from 330mm x 330mm up to 600mm x 600mm.
