SITI-B&T, SIR and Garoll Launch New Sanitaryware Technology Brand: Whitech

Combining the excellence and experience of three equipment and machinery producers for the ceramics and robotics industries, Whitech is a new name in the field capable of providing the best in technology solutions for the whitewares sector.

Suppliers of whitewares world-wide can now count on a first class technology team, the ideal partner for the supply of quality integrated production solutions, said the partners. SITI-B&T Group, SIR (Industrial Robotic Solutions) and Garoll Systems, three Italian leaders in their respective fields, have after years of collaboration agreed to combine their strengths, know how and experience to work as a sole and complete supplier for all production requirements in the sanitaryware industry.

SITI-B&T Group, based in Formigine (MO, Italy), provides Whitech with the technical expertise which has contributed to making it the world’s second largest plant engineering company in the ceramic whitewares sector, producing machines for mix preparation, conveying, transport and stocking systems, kilns, engineering and plant engineering. The company history, market profile and the mechatronic know-how of the constituent companies SITI and Barbieri & Tarozzi are claimed as a further guarantee of performance and reliability.

SIR (Industrial Robotic Solutions), an Italian company from Modena, is a market leader in automated robotics, producing robotic inspection and visual verification systems, robotic surface finish systems, kiln handling and loading/unloading systems and kiln interlocking and palletisation systems for sanitaryware. SIR, which, like SITI-B&T, is controlled by the Group holding company, provides services to various industries including ceramics, pharmaceuticals, aeronautics, plastics and metal and mechanical engineering.

Garoll Impianti is one of the most famous names in the manufacture of machines for the production of sanitaryware. With over 30 years of experience, this company, from Travagliato (Brescia, Italy) produces and provides models and moulds, casting machines, automated robotic systems for casting machines, drying systems, robotic glazing, polishing, cutting and moulding systems, engineering and plant engineering.

These three companies, having for years collaborated on specific designs and products, are now preparing to integrate their technical departments and sales networks to optimise both research and development activities for new plant engineering solutions and their comprehensive coverage of world markets, as well as a well established, excellent after-sales service.
