Sama Sees Sales Soar to 23 Million Euro
Sama Maschinenbau, based in Germany, is expanding fast. At Weissenstadt, construction of a new 2,000 sq.m. production facility is now underway.
Founded in 1996 and incorporated into the Sacmi Group just one year later, Sama supplies everything and anything for the production of tableware and also technical ceramics, from body preparation equipment through to plate presses. This year's total sales are expected to reach 23 million euro, with exports accounting for 88% of that figure.
With the construction of this new factory building, Sama aims to concentrate its four German production plants - two in Weissenstadt, one in Marktleuthen and the other in Kirchenlamitz - within a distinct area. Moreover, says the company, the new facility will allow Sama to boost it output capacity.
